Every Wednesday during the month of October, the Chevron El Segundo Refinery Women’s Network held bake sales to raise funds for the local nonprofit organization Mychal’s Learning Place. Mychal’s Learning Place is committed to the belief that children and young adults with developmental disabilities are valuable contributors to our community and as such should be provided with opportunities that encourage them to reach their full potential. Their mission is to assist them in building self-esteem and increase independence through goal-oriented activities.
The Women’s Network raised $1,662 all of which was donated to Mychal’s Learning Place.
